A flange is a method of connecting pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment to form a piping system. It also provides easy access for cleaning, inspection or modification. Flanges are usually welded or threaded.
The usage of Forged fittings are similar to BW fittings except that it is used in high pressure applications. The forged material may be more fine grained due to the process of hammer-forging.
